Scrollbar flickering with flex: 1 1 auto

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. have a container with display: flex and flex-direction: column 2. have a child with flex: 1 1 auto 3. resize the window to set it the size of the child What is the expected behavior? the scrollbar should not flickering What went wrong? the vertical scrollbar is flickering. (visible but empty => hidden). If y add a child with a css animation on hover, the flickering is obvious. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: no problem with firefox and edge

pierre.fiorelli@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Windows 10 on the reported version 71.0.3578.98 and the latest Canary 73.0.3645.0 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the below steps. 1. Launched Chrome and navigated to the given html page. 2. Resized the browser window and hovered over the play button. 3. Couldn't observe any flickering on the scrollbar. Attached is the screen cast for reference. Request you to check and confirm if anything is missed from our end in triaging the issue. Also request you to retry the issue on a new chrome profile without ant flags/extensions and update the thread with the observation. Thanks..

Hello suzan, you have to resize the browser just to the limit to have the vertical scrollbar disappearing. I've made another gif to explain it. Thanks

I can repro on Linux 72.0.3626.14 Looks like layout thrashing.
