Omnibox Math Results Can't Be Copied To Clipboard Anymore

Chrome Version: 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

(1) type "=3*4" in the omnibox
(2) press the down arrow (to select the '12' option)



What is the expected result?

The result of a math expression should change the omnibox text to the result (e.g. '=3*4' + downarrow would change the omnibox to 12).  This makes it possible to copy the result to clipboard (which is critical for more complex results -- e.g. "sin(1)").  This worked before.



What happens instead?

The omnibox text doesn't change to '12'.

This has been reproduced on another Linux by my office mate and on my Macbook Pro.

Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 71.0.3578.98 also on latest chrome 73.0.3642.0 using Mac 10.14.0 and Ubuntu 17.10.  

Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and adding appropriate labels to it.

Note: Omnibox result(=3*4->12) not observed on windows 10 and removing Needs-Bisect label to it.
