Mouse back and forward buttons not working

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Press back/forward buttons on mouse 2. Nothing happens 3. cry What is the expected behavior? Time travel What went wrong? The mouse buttons are not working, except when the mouse pointer is on the Chrome toolbar. Did this work before? Yes Don't know. Chrome version: 70.0.3538.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 8.1 Flash Version: 32.0.0.101 Google, plz fix.

Thanks for filing the issue! As per comment# 0 from the issue seems to be related to mouse with back/forward buttons, which is not available at ET team to test and confirm it, hence routing this to Inhouse team for further triaging the issue. Hence adding TE-NeedsTriageFromHYD label to it. Thanks!

Mouse with back/forward buttons is not available with Chrome team to test this issue. Adding respective label to triage further. Thanks..!

They work for me correctly. Is it a specific URI that you are on where they do not work? (I believe there is issue 850847 where they fail to work when inside a PDF.

They don't work on https://www.nordicfeel.se/ , which isn't a PDF.

Reporter pages can prevent the navigation behavior of back/forward buttons of mouse if they want to. Here is a sample page that shows this behavior based on what part of the page you press and release back/forward buttons: http://output.jsbin.com/fopihozidi This does work as intended. Feel free to open this bug again or file a new one if you think I didn't address your concerns. |
