Tested the issue in Android and able to reproduce the issue. Steps Followed: 1. Navigated to m.youtube.com, played video and entered fullscreen 2. Observed unwanted two line as showed in video Chrome versions tested: 70.0.3538.110 , 73.0.3643.0 OS: Android 9.0.0 Android Devices: Pixel XL Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results, Good Build - 70.0.3532.0 Bad Build - 70.0.3533.0 CL: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/f507ed407a12376c0417710f051d3e2c347735ef. From CL this seems to be intended, hence not adding RB-Stable. @ lethalantidote: Could you please look into the issue, pardon me if it has nothing to do with your changes and if possible please assign it to owner concerned. Thanks!

+beccahughes @beccahughes, I remember we restricted the display cutout button to Android P+, but were there any cases of P+ that wouldn't have a display cutout?

No there should not be.

I don't think we have the API to detect the existence of a display cutout. The best we can do is isolate the feature to Android P+. Sorry about that. |
