Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Notice that any site that implements history.pushState does not add onto the history
2. Go to the following js fiddle on chrome ios: https://jsfiddle.net/fJ9wq/
3. Interact with the example and notice no entries are added to the history

What is the expected behavior?
history.pushState should behave the same as all other browsers, or at least provide an alternative/polyfill 

What went wrong?
Pages that still use a hash based navigation are not able to navigate properly
