||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionGoogle Chrome 72.0.3626.8 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) Firmware Version Google_Eve.9584.174.0 Steps: # Enable ChromeVox with ctrl + alt + z # Go to ChromeVox options page via Settings > Manage Accessibility Features # Navigate to "Select Bluetooth braille display button", hear "Select a bluetooth braille display button has popup collapsed press search + space to activate" # Use search + space to activate the button and try to interact with it Expected: some indication that the combo box is empty Actual: user could be confused that button is empty/non-responsive because it's uncommon to see an empty combo box

Good bug, but this isn't specific to the bluetooth braille display support. repo - enter data:text/html,<select></select> into the url bar - with chromevox enabled - search+right to place focus on the popup button - search + space actual: the button (popup button) is indicated as expanded expected: 1. should announce immediately after search+space is pressed 2. improve the output rule for popup button to report item count

Note: This is the default UI for users with no braille display at all. I did not attempt to connect one for my tests.

These Bluetooth Braille Display bugs do not require regression checks since this is newly introduced UI.

Removing the braille label. You're right, dtseng. I'll close this bug and open a new one for all empty comboboxes to reduce ambiguity. |
