Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 11021.81.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.110 Safari/537.36 Platform: 11021.81.0 (Official Build) stable-channel setzer Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Start Crostini. 2. Insert a removable storage device. 3. Run lsblk. 4. Note that the removable storage device is not accessible. What is the expected behavior? Removable storage devices should be fully manipulable from within Crostini. What went wrong? Removable storage devices are not accessible from within Crostini. Did this work before? Iiuc, that's basically wanting device namespace aka namespacing devtmpfs (For Android that's only partially true since it doesn't use devtmpfs but rather tmpfs + ueventd where the udev implementation of Android is creating device nodes instead of devtmpfs itself.). This is not going to fly. I would like this feature and have thought about implementing it but that would involve convincing Greg and so far he has been very opposed to device namespaces. |
