Launch CCA 5.2.6/5.2.7 in desktop/landscape/small/full screen mode(Front/Back camera facing) 2. Switch camera to video mode 3. Start video recording Observe: (see attached file) Expected result: Recorded video should shows up in Gallery thumbnail icon Actual result: Notice Gallery thumbnail is shown "Black" icon Note: not reproducible in "Photo" mode How frequently does this problem reproduce? I am not able to repro this on basking pvt sku3 11316.18.0 with CCA 5.2.6. After recording, the thumbnail shows correctly. Allen, when you reproduce the bug, is the recorded video successfully saved in Downloads/?

Yes,recorded video does saved in Download but not shown in thumbnail gallery always remain black thumbnail.

allendam@, Please launch CCA and open CCA 'Details' in chrome://extensions/ to choose 'Inspect views: views/main.html'. It'll invoke 'DevTools' window. Please help to provide the screenshot of its 'Console'. Thanks.

I still can't reproduce the issue. Allen, I have some questions: 1. Before you start video recording, does the thumbnail show correctly? Clicking on it brings you to the correct photo/video in gallery app? 2. After reproducing the problem, is the black thumbnail clickable? Does it bring you to the correct photo/video in gallery app?

I take the video file in #28 and place in Downloads/. CCA on eve successfully displays the thumbnail. Therefore, it's not the problem of the recorded video, but how we generate thumbnail from it. Allen, could you use the attached crx to test if it can reproduce?
