Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.80 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: I'm not sure whether this is a Chromium problem or a Google problem, but it relates to signing in. I have four linked accounts: - scroggo@google.com - Scroggo@gmail.com - scroggo@chromium.org - scroggtest@gmail.com I am signed in to Chrome with my @google.com account (on my work desktop). Sometimes I log into my @chromium or Scroggo@gmail accounts by using "Add account". Recently, when I click on a link to a Google site, or open the new New Tab page that includes links to Gmail in the upper right, it may not take me to my @google account. Today it's been Scroggo@gmail; last week it was scroggotest@. As far as I know, I haven't done anything to trigger this behavior. What is the expected behavior? Always default to the account I'm signed into Chrome with. Clicking my profile icon in the upper right of the Google page (not Chrome) used to specify which one is the default. I expect that to be @google. (Now it just shows a list without labels; I'd expect @google to be at the top.) What went wrong? Last week scroggotest@ was the default, and this week it is Scroggo@gmail Did this work before? Yes Not sure. Chrome version: 71.0.3578.80 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version:

Tried testing the issue on reported chrome version #71.0.3538.80 using Ubuntu 17.10 by following below steps. Steps: ===== 1.Launched chrome. 2.Signed into Gmail with 4 different accounts (including chromium). 3.Opened new tab page and clicked on Gmail link which appeared on the top right. 4.It navigated to mail page which was logged in first(default). Attached screencast for reference and tentatively adding Services>SignIn. @reporter: Could you please review attached screencast and let us know if anything is being missed here. Request you to retry the issue by creating a new profile without apps and extensions in it, reset all flags to default and let us know if the issue still persists. Thanks.!

The issue is not happening currently. I have no idea what I did to trigger the behavior. Will re-open if I run into it again. |
