Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/71.0.3578.80 Chrome/71.0.3578.80 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Run Chromium 2. In Settings>Appearance>Themes set GTK+. 3. Address Bar still has white background and black letters. What is the expected behavior? Address Bar should respect theme. Theme says it should be black background and cyan letters. What went wrong? New UI look is using more space then old look and is not respecting GTK+ theme. Did this work before? Yes <71.0.3578.80 Chrome version: 71.0.3578.80 Channel: stable OS Version: Ubuntu 16.04 (64bit) Flash Version: I added two images, NormalChromium showing how it worked, and NewChromium showing how it doesn't work now.

Thanks for filing the issue! Able to reproduce the issue on reported chromium version #71.0.3578.0 , latest canary #73.0.3639.0 using Mac OS 10.13.6 , Ubuntu 17.10 and Windows 10 by following steps as per comment#0. The behaviour is seen from M-60(60.0.3112.0). Attaching the screenshot of the same for reference. As this seems to be a non regression issue hence marking it as untraiged and requesting some one from dev team to look into the issue.

I have attached how it looked with same dark theme few versions ago. Maybe that default Ubuntu dark theme doesn't have dark input fields, but mine have set input fields different colors. This is also how new look looked when introduced, that's why I reverted to old look thru flags. But now that flags are totally removed, and bug still present, I had to point out. Hope someone fix this soon.
