Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 8.0.0; SM-G930V) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.110 Mobile Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Open chrome. Cringe. What is the expected behavior? To not look awful. What went wrong? Google made a terrible decision to ruin existing UI, then tried to censor users upset about the issue. Did this work before? Yes All earlier versions Chrome version: 70.0.3538.110 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version:

Yeah, that's ignoring. Censoring would be deleting or hiding the thread. People are free to create new issues as well.

Thanks for filing the issue..! As the issue seems to be similar to that of Issue 911820 , hence duplicating into it. Please feel free to undupe if not the case.

They are blocking the issue so as to those who are raising voices. For someone to stay relevant and get paid, they'd have to do something new even if they're terrible. As for everyone else they're just enduring in silence what's been forced or they don't care much. They just want to browse something, if browsing work they're happy. I'd not have cared much if I didn't use previous design. Everything in the new design just screams I'm there. It's good for a touch device, but for a non-touch device with small screen it's nightmare. Even Firefox looks better now than chrome with it'd prefect rectangle shape instead of weird oval shape like in chrome.

Personally I hated the new UI at first, but then I've customized the theme colors so it no longer irritates me. I've used this theme editor: https://www.themebeta.com/chrome-theme-creator-online.html Quoting the main bug 911820 , pkasting@chromium.org: While we always appreciate feedback, the bug tracker isn't the right forum for it. Please use the Chrome product forums if you'd like to give feedback on things. There's a long thread in forum https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/0KBceiK5iL8 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=913806#c6, I don't think I can use that to go to previous design then why bother changing some colours. At this point there're 3 choices 1. Use other browser like Firefox 2. Use one a chromium fork without this weird quark -> https://www.centbrowser.com/ 3. Use older version(pre 71) of Chrome -> https://www.slimjet.com/chrome/google-chrome-old-version.php |
