Usability bug: chrome MacOS installer

Project Member Reported by eeeeaaii@google.com, Dec 8

Issue description

The installer for Chrome on Mac OS (the DMG) just opens up a window with the chrome icon, the application folder, and an arrow.

This is cute I guess and most people know they are supposed to drag the icon into the application folder. However not everyone knows that, especially people who aren't as tech-savvy.

To be more inclusive, there should be a localized message saying something like "drag the chrome icon into the application folder to install"

A survey of bundle based installers suggests that the arrow-style drag to install is the common case for Mac.

Adding instructional text is nice to have here for clarity.

+avi@ who's working on a more fully-featured installer. Does it make sense to clean up the DMG presentation in the meantime?
Making localized text in the dmg is tricky. We can't burn it into the image as we'd have to create multiple dmgs. What we could maybe do is create a folder with a custom blank icon and a .localized name that shows up as one of many text options...

Messing around with .DS_Store and other files to accomplish that is very tricky, so my inclination is to leave this alone unless there's a real indication that the drag install rates are severely impacted by this.
