How is this different from bug 65244?
,

Because my fix will not involve restoring the position when the browser / tab crashes or restarts.

It will restore to the last history state pushed, but not what the user is currently looked at (which differs as soon as a user scrolls away from where an internal PDF link sends them). I figured since I don't intend on fixing that original complaint of 65244, that a separate bug should be opened.
