Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.110 Safari/537.36 Example URL: gmail.com Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. compose email in gmail and click the Attachment icon 2. From the window explorer window, which pops open rename one of the files you see and then drag and drop it onto the email. 3. Notice the crash What is the expected behavior? Attachment is uploaded to email, and browser handles it. What went wrong? After the drag and drop from the Win Explorer window the browser shows "Not Responding" Does it occur on multiple sites: No Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 70.0.3538.110 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

It did not generate, the process was hung and I had to manually kill chrome.

Thanks for filing the issue.. Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 70.0.3538.110 using Windows 10.Attaching screen-cast for reference. Steps: --------- 1. Launched reported chrome 2. Opened gmail and composed a mail 3. Clicked on attachment >> observed windows explorer popup > selected one file > dragged and dropped into composing mail As we observed that the attachment is uploaded to email, and browser handles it. @Reporter: Request you to retry this issue with fresh profile without any extensions & apps or reset all the flags and let us know if issue still persists. If possible provide crash id from chrome://crashes and verify this issue on latest chrome stable :" https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel ". Let us know whether issue still persists.
