Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open up devtools 2. Click the sources tab 3. Open the console drawer 4. Click the eyeball for live expression 5. Note how the field is cut in half What is the expected behavior? Being able to read the full field and easier to find the field to adjust. What went wrong? I am unsure but maybe the sizing of the browser was not built to compensate for the live expression field on this version of Chrome? Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 70.0.3538.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Fish bowl?

Thank you for the report. Based on the screenshot, it looks like the Live expression area would be visible once the drawer is manually resized to be taller, or once the 'Settings' pane is closed. The DevTools UI has a lot of expandable panels, and our solution has been to allow users to resize panels when needed. A small Console drawer with the 'Settings' pane open may lead to cases where the Console log, Live expressions are obscured. Since resizing and collapsing are still available, marking this as WontFix. |
