What is the expected behavior? You only get what you add. Nothing more. What went wrong? Duplicates after duplicates. Did this work before? Yes NA Chrome version: 70.0.3538.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: This URL covers this issue: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=816723 However, no one on your end will now respond to repeated inquiries, so I am trying once again.

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version #70.0.3538.110 using Windows 7 by following below steps. Steps: ===== 1.Launched chrome. 2.Navigated to three random pages and added them as bookmarks. 3.Observed that bookmarks are being added without any duplicates. Attached screencast for reference. @reporter: Could you please review attached screencast and let us know if anything is being missed here. Request you to retry the issue by creating a new person without any apps and extension in it, reset all flags to default and let us know if the issue still persists. Thanks.!

I have run Chrome with almost no extensions. This is intermittent. Random behavior that has no predictable pattern. Here is what happens. I add Bookmark 1 and Bookmark 2. I add them in alphabetical order. Hours later, I notice that both of them have repeated and show up at the end of the bookmark list. IE, one starts with A and the other B. So the alphabetical list of bookmarks in the folder would read, in order, A B C D E F G A B This has gone on for YEARS. Forgive me for my lack of patience. |
