Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 11021.81.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.110 Safari/537.36 Platform: 11021.81.0 (Official Build) stable-channel cave Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Settings > Printers > Add Printer/Add Nearby Printer > Select Brother MFC9970-CDW (Auto Discovered on LAN) > Click ADD 2. "Select a printer manufacturer and model" Window Opens (Shouldn't Printer be Automatically Added if it was Already Automatically Discovered???) > Select "Brother" from Manufacturer Drop-Down > Select "Brother MFC9840CDW" from Model Drop-Down (MFC-9970CDW is NOT SHOWN AS AN AVAILABLE OPTION!!!) > Click ADD & Printer is Added (may need to try a 2nd time as it doesn't always work the 1st time) 3. Chrome MENU > PRINT (Whatever Open Tab/Doc) > (Select Desired Printer/Printing Options) > Click PRINT Button > "Now Printing/100%" Notification Appears, BUT NOTHING EVER PRINTS! 4. Settings > Printers > EDIT Brother MFC-9970CDW > HIGHLIGHT Queue Name "duerqxesz5090" > Right-Click and CUT/DELETE Queue Name "duerqxesz5090" > Click SAVE > Document(s) in Print Queue MAGICALLY START PRINTING! 5. Queue Name Must Be Re-Added/Saved After Printing & Entire Process Repeated for Every Subsequent Print Job! Extremely Tedious, PLEASE FIX!!! What is the expected behavior? Normal Printing Without Needing to Perform Setup Voodoo Magic Tricks Every Time As Anyone Would Naturally Expect! What went wrong? Printing to Brother MFC-9970CDW (Set Up As Brother MFC-9840CDW) Not Working! Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 70.0.3538.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 11021.81.0 Flash Version: 31.0.0.148 I REALLY Don't Want to Have to Go Back to MSFT Windows...

This issue has an owner, a component and a priority, but is still listed as untriaged or unconfirmed. By definition, this bug is triaged. Changing status to "assigned". Please reach out to me if you disagree with how I've done this. |
