Expected: app resizes appropriately and search box is still seen
Actual: search box disappears per screenshot

# Turn off docked magnifier with ctrl + search + d
Expected: app resumes normal appearance
Actual: app remains altered

This does not repro if the focus was higher up in the order such as the "discover" or "get started" sections.
