Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.77 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Set location.href = pdf blob url 2. Click the download button in the chrome pdf viewer, or right-click and choose save as 3. Unable to save error message is displayed What is the expected behavior? Being able to save the pdf to disk. Tested in Firefox, and it works there. What went wrong? Unable to save pdf Did this work before? No Chrome version: 70.0.3538.77 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.3 Flash Version: I think saving images in the same manner works. Pdfs dont work, so the behaviour is inconsistent.

Thanks for filing the issue! Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 70.0.3538.77 and on the latest canary 72.0.3625.0 using Windows 10, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.14.1 As the issue is seen from M60(60.0.3112.0) considering it as Non-Regression and marking it as Untriaged.

I think if we solve bug 158957, this problem will likely go away. |
