Protected content identifier will not unblock

Reported by bandekar...@gmail.com, Nov 27

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10718.47.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.134 Safari/537.36
Platform: 68.4.74 (Developer Build - neverware) developer-build chromeover64

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Settings; "advanced"
2. Protected Content Identifier for any particular site (open.spotify.com for instance)
3. Switch from block to allow

What is the expected behavior?
Once "allow" is clicked, status should change from "block" to "allow".

What went wrong?
Protected content identifier for the chosen site REFUSES to change to "ask" or "allow" and remains on "block"/

Did this work before? No

I think you need to contact neverware. This is likely due to Widevine compatibility on that platform.
