Regression: Unable to record the screen using 'Capturecast' extension

Issue description

Chrome Version: 72.0.3623.0 (Official Build) Revision bc6ec85849f003e7b403d5e48eee959e76de0cd3-refs/branch-heads/3623@{#1} (32/64-bit)

OS: Windows (7, 8, 8.1, 10), Mac (10.13.1, 10.13.6, 10.14.2) & Linux (14.04 LTS)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch chrome and install extension (Capturecast) from above URL.
(2) Now try to share and record the screen from 'Capturecast' extension.
(3) Observe.

Actual Result: Unable to record the screen using 'Capturecast' extension.

Expected Result: 'Capturecast' extension should be able to record the screen.

This is a Regression issue seen from 'M-71' and providing the bisect info below:
Good Build: 71.0.3548.0 (Revision: 589800)
Bad Build:  71.0.3549.0 (Revision: 590119)

You are probably looking for a change made after 589879 (known good), but no later than 589880 (first known bad).

NOTE: Issue is also seen on M-71 Beta (build #71.0.3578.62) and M-72 Dev (build #72.0.3610.2).

Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
Working as intended.
The URL.createObjectURL() function has been deprecated and removed.
The extension needs an update and I recommend you contact its owners to get it addressed.
