Many Tast tests are flaky on daisy-derived release builders

Project Member Reported by hidehiko@chromium.org, Nov 26

Issue description

Thanks for filing. I was planning to start a discussion about whether we should still have these daisy-based release builders at all -- they seem like they may be flaky in general, and they just add noise to the test results.
Summary: Many Tast tests are flaky on daisy-derived release builders (was: security.(Symlink|HardLink)Restrictions looks falky)
(Renaming this to track general daisy issues.)

security.(Symlink|HardLink)Restrictions fail frequently but not always; I have no idea why. Tests that exercise login often fail, too.

There are no daisy-based paladin builders, so these failures don't cause problems on the CQ.

I suspect that these test failures indicate hardware issues rather than bugs in tests or in the software running on the DUT.

Bernie and Kevin, are unexpected failures on daisy-based release builders commonplace, in your experience? I just want to make sure that failures in Tast tests on these boards won't cause problems when determining which versions to ship.
