Issue descriptionDevice name: From "Settings > About Chrome" Application version:70.0.3538.80 Operating system:Android 8.1 URLs (if applicable): Steps to reproduce: (1)Search a musician on google with chrome or any app that uses chrome webview (including Google app) (2)Tap the "songs" option in the card overview of said musician. (3) Or, search the musician with "songs" after it (i.e. "Nirvana songs") Expected result: A list of their songs should come up. Actual result: The list is completely empty. Tried with different networks, different search subjects. The problem occurs with authors & actors, but it is most consistent in the musician category.

Repros on chrome, hence removing WebView component. Repros on older versions, which suggests this is a website bug. Unless the reporter can demonstrate this works in other mobile browsers (e.g., firefox for Android), I'm going to close this. If this is a website bug, I'm sure the Google Search front-end team is already aware.

Issue does not persist in browsers that don't use Chrome webview. Not able to reproduce the problem with Firefox, Firefox Focus, Opera. Note that browsers using Android system webview are not able to reproduce the issue. Only Chrome webview seems to have this problem.

Ok, might be a Chrome bug? Seems unlikely to repro in chrome but not WebView, but I'll take your word. Needs triage by the clank team.

@ntfschr: This issue is seen from older builds, hence marked as Untriaged and provided logs and video in c#4. Does this require any further triage from QA team. For now changing status to Untriaged, please feel free to revert if this is not the case. Thanks!

@chelamcherla: Any update on this?

+boliu for webview. This seems like it's probably an issue on the search side though. We should probably file a bug with them.

gananyo@, chelamcherla@, it's probably a good time to check this again, I can't repro this on any of the browser mentioned above including Chrome now, Google search might fixed this already.
,
Dec 8
@mdjones: Probably not. Browsers that use system webview or any other engine works fine. @ctzsm: Issue is still here.

gananyo@, you may want to try to clear any cache associated to google.com including service worker code. I couldn't tell which screenshot is associated with which browser, could you please clarify that. When repro, what do you see from the dev console? You could do that by using chrome://inspect in a desktop Chrome when connecting the device to the desktop/laptop.
