mod98ban@ Thanks for the issue.

Tested this issue on Ubuntu 17.10 on the reported version 70.0.3538.77 and the latest Stable 70.0.3538.110 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the below steps.

1. Launched Chrome and logged into facebook.com
2. Played videos on facebook and could observe that the videos are playing without any issues

Request you to update Chrome to the latest Stable 70.0.3538.110, retry the issue and update the thread with the observations.

Thanks...
Chrome, and chromium are both the latest stable version. Today things were
working fine in both, but I just don't understand why Firefox worked fine
last night, but chrome, and chromium didn't work right. Something was
badly amiss, and I changed nothing on my computers last night, or today.
