Issue descriptionChrome Version: 72.0.3612.0/11282.0.0 dev channel Peppy,Paine,Candy OS: Chrome OS Pre-condition: Have 2 user accounts What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Sign in to one of the user>> Click on Ubertray and then on Profile icon (2)Click on Sign-in to another user and observe Multi-profile Intro dialog is not seen Actual: Multi-profile Intro dialog is not seen Expected: Multi-profile Intro dialog should be seen Raising this as a Non-Regression issue as the issue seems to be very inconsistent. NOTE: Able to get the dialog twice in 10 times Attaching screencasts for reference..

I couldn't reproduce this before or after my changes. It looks like the preference for whether to show the dialog is synced. Might the difference you're seeing be in whether the pref was actually synced to the device?

I tried for a while to repro, even at the specific revision this is filed against, and I couldn't. kebalaji, what are the exact steps you did? If *any* of the logged in users has ever clicked the ok button on the 'multiple sign-in' dialog with 'dont show again' checked, then the 'multiple sign-in' dialog is not shown. For the times you didn't see the dialog, is it from an account where you have previously clicked ok in the dialog with 'dont show again' checked? |
