||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionJAWS 2018 + Windows 10.0.1.16299 combination: Chrome version: 70.0.3538.110 (Official Build) (64-bit) (cohort: 70_110_Win) Steps to Repro: # With JAWS On # Use an input control with type 'date', like this one: https://www.w3schools.com/Html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_input_date # Using linear navigation try to access the date menu options for the below: 1. cross button to delete the entered date 2. Up and Down arrow to increase or decrease the entered date and 3. Dropdown menu to access the calendar options Actual: All the above are not accessible through linear navigation Expected: All above values which appears through mouse hover should be available for the screen reader users as well. Screen reader should read aloud delete, increase or decrease date and drop down options available so that the user knows these options are available Also note touch screen options skips all the 3 options for the date picker as well. Repeat the above steps for NVDA 2018: Same as above

Version 72.0.3610.2 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) NVDA version 2018.3.2 I can repro this using above versions. It looks like the screen reader sees the input fields as buttons but treats them as a spin box instead. There is no way to interact with the calendar using buttons.
