Chrome window often blanks out, either completely or partial

OS Version: OS X 10.14.1 

in today's canary, parts of the window or sometimes the entire window, or parts of the chrome UI like the tabstrip go completely blank (i.e. white). No idea how to repro, restarting doesn't help.

This happens to the point that Chrome is almost unusable.

I have a similar issue on Chrome OS (Dev channel): parts of the page will blank out. For example, I was trying to comment on a doc and after selecting the text, the whole paragraph disappeared. Same happens on GMail.

Thanks for the report.

Probably a dupe of issue 906175.  Issue 906510  could also be related.
