Citrix Receiver HTML5 Broken v70 But Fixed In Beta v71

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.102 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Log into Citrix Gateway
2. Click a resource 
3. A HTML5 chrome Citrix tab appears but is stuck on connecting forever
4. Thats all.

What is the expected behavior?
Same steps as above but after the HTML5 Chrome tab opens it connects and displays said resource correctly in the browser. 

What went wrong?
It doesnt connect. As mentioned in title this is broken in the latest v70 release but tested it in Chrome Beta v71 and its working again. 

Does it occur on multiple sites: No

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? Yes v69

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 70.0.3538.102  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0

The issue seems to be related to citrix gateway. Hence, routing the issue to inhouse team for further triaging of the issue.

Hi Thomas,

can you try pressing F12 (or open the developer tools from the menu) on the Citrix Receiver tab after waiting for connection for a while. And check if any errors are printed on the console there. If so please paste them here (possibly removing any concrete IPs usersnames etc. from them).

Hi all,

We have fixed the issue now by changing the Content Security Policy on our Citrix NetScaler Gateway servers. Why it suddenly in this version required this change is strange, but we have changed it and Chrome started working straight away. Please close this bug. Thanks for all the help.

Thank you for the confirmation. It looks in line with the error in the log about CSP preventing a network load.
