Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Download a context menu extension that uses separators between items like Trufflepiggy - Context Search: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/trufflepiggy-context-sear/chffnhocnckigoapjdienmaphjnljpmo
2. After installation click continue without an account and on the following page just open the Context Menu. Between the extension itself as well as in the Trufflepiggy Sub-Context-Menus no separators are rendered as it was before at Chrome v70. (at least with this change I noticed that the separators are gone)
3. https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/contextMenus#type-ItemType separator is the affected API

What is the expected behavior?
In the Chromium context menu a separator is usually rendered between native chrome functions and web extensions. In the web extension context menu itemTypes "separator" should be visible.

What went wrong?
In the Chromium context menu a separator the between native chrome functions and web extensions isn't rendered anymore. And for the web extension context menu itemTypes "separator" aren't rendered anymore. 

Did this work before? Yes Chrome < version 70 I think. It worked for the last 2 years but with one of the recent updates it's gone.

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

My guess is that the separator between native and web extensions might have been coded wrong and therefore subsequently no separators are shown in web extensions. But that's just a guess.
