Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_14_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/72.0.3608.4 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Drag and drop a file into the browser window 2. Browser "redirects" to that file://... What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Sometimes when I'm filling bug reports (like this one) and I need to attach screen shot I drag and drop the screenshot from my Desktop. Sometimes I drop the file into a form space that doesn't allow drag and drop. Instead of a warning or nothing happening, I'm "redirected" to that file. file://... A warning when attempting to drag and drop a file into a non drag and drop zone would be nice. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 72.0.3608.4 Channel: dev OS Version: OS X 10.14.1 Flash Version:

Thanks for the issue... Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 72.0.3608.4 using Mac 10.14.0. Attaching screencast for reference. Steps: --------- 1. Launched reported chrome 2. Dragged and dropped jpeg and html files as per attached screencast As we have observed that the Browser redirects to that file://. (jpeg and html) @Reporter: Can you verify this issue with fresh profile that is not having any extensions and apps or reset all the flags. Let us know whether issue still persists. Thanks..!
