Dark border seen on omnibox

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/72.0.3602.2 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: This issue only on high dpi screen (1080p) at scale 125%. Not seen on 720p screens. This issue only if the window maximized. What is the expected behavior? Dark border on omnibox. What went wrong? There Isn't any dark border. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: Version 72.0.3608.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: If you can't see the issue try it on 17 inch screen at scale 125%.

Able to reproduce the issue only on chrome canary# 72.0.3608.4, but the same issue is not seen on chrome equivalent Dev build# 72.0.3608.0 using Windows-10. Hence marking this issue as Untriaged and requesting someone from Dev team help in assigning it correct owner. Thanks!

tommycli@, I know you know about the highlighting box around the omnibox. Maybe you also know about the styling immediately below the location bar too? If not, feel free to hand it off to someone else. For the record, this sounds a little like bug 850829 , though that one was on Mac (pre-Views) so it might not have any useful insights. |
