Could you explain why you desire this functionality?
Hello Rsleevi,
In our organization, users change the DNS entries manually. We want to enforce nameserver ips (DNS ips) centrally and restrict users changing these settings as per the infosec policy. So, if we can push the DNS configuration using a Javascript API that would help to solve this use case.

Thanks,
PD

Thanks. I don't believe there are any current plans to support such an API, but your request has been noted.

You could use https://www.chromium.org/administrators/policy-list-3#OpenNetworkConfiguration policy. We are also in the process of enforcing DNS settings (see https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=869199)
