Once the blocking bug prerequisites are in place, this item tracks putting a UI widget in GE to automate creation of new release branches.

Christine, and Stephen, it will be quite some time (Q1) before the blockers are complete. I'm assigning these to you now so that we don't lose track of this work but I'm not looking for any work to be done immediately.
