Arabic End of Aya symbol is not enclosing Arabic Numbers

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.77 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Unzip Tehreer.zip 2. Open pqm_test.html What is the expected behavior? Fonts used in pqm_test.html page have OpenType features which render the text in a way so that the arabic numbers appear inside end of aaya mark. This page is working fine in Internet Explorer What went wrong? OpenType fonts have Glyph Substitution (GSUB) features. And Chrome is not handling GSUB table in this scenario for some reason. Where as IE shows same page properly. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 70.0.3538.77 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version:

lateef@ Thanks for the issue. Able to reproduce the issue on Windows 10, Mac OS 10.13.6 and Ubuntu 17.10 on the latest Stable 70.0.3538.102 and the latest Canary 72.0.3608.0. This is a Non-Regression issue as this is observed from M-60 chrome builds. Attached is the screen shot for reference. Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev. Thanks..

After trying unicode-bidi:bidi-override style, I am able to achieve correct shape. Please close the issue
