CrOS FR: SNMP protocol compatibility with Chrome OS devices

Project Member Reported by cardonam@google.com, Nov 9

Issue description

Summary: A customer requests Simple Network Management Protocol compatibility and documentation to be applied to Chrome OS devices and that the current compatibility or lack of it is documented in a help center article.

Use case / Motivation:
The customer is setting up an asset management and audit application and wishes to request that Chrome OS devices are discoverable by it using the SNMP protocol. This would apply for all Chrome OS devices including but not limited for Chromebooks, Google for Meetings and if possible for Jamboard as well.

Existing workarounds:
No known workaround

Case#: 17464641

Components: Internals>Network
Components: -Internals>Network OS>Systems>Network Enterprise
Internals>Network is for the browser-side network stack. This request sounds like an OS-level networking request. Also adding Enterprise label.
