GE still showing red missing everywhere, we are basically down since Monday.  What is need to make GE live again?

Silly question, could we/I get a basic overview of GoldenEye or relevant docs?  It's hard to understand what exactly is broken (and when it would be considered fixed) since the test infra team isn't familiar with the GE UI.  Even a screenshot highlighting which part indicates "bad" and what it would look like when "good" is helpful.
