Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Maximize a window
(2) Attempt to move the maximized window
Expected Result:
Window unmaximizes and moves.
Actual Result:
Window stays maximized and does not move.
How frequently does this problem reproduce? Always
What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
Usability issue. Workaround is to manually unmaximize the window before moving.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or
log if possible.
There are numerous conventions (at least given my Windows and Linux experience, Mac may be a different story) of window movability and snapping that are not honored, and it's an impediment to usability (especially with multiple monitors). Here's what I expect to be available when moving a window:
1. Move to top center of screen -> maximize
2. Move to left or right side of the screen (not in a corner) -> 1/2 screen snap
3. Move to any corner -> 1/4 screen snap
