After installing Chrome OS 70 on Pixelbook that has Linux installed, launching the Debian Files app freezes the system

Reported by richard....@gmail.com, Nov 6

Issue description

Chrome Version : 70.0.3538.76
OS Version: 11021.56.0
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari: Not applicable
    Firefox: Not applicable
    IE/Edge: Not applicable

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make sure the Linux environment is installed on Chrome OS 70
2. Download and install the nautilus file manager via sudo apt install nautilus
3. Launch nautilus

What is the expected result? The nautilus file manager should enable you to browse your Linux files on the pixelbook

What happens instead of that? The shelf blurs and the system freezes. The only way I could find to get out of this was to power down the computer and restart.

To: tbuckley@google.com - Thanks for testing in 71.0.3578.49 - when that release becomes available on the stable channel, I will try it on the Pixelbook.
