Tabs randomly freeze at 100% CPU usage

I don't have a reliable way to reproduce this. Almost every day a tab will become unresponsive, and when I look at the task manager it'll show up as having 100% CPU usage. It seem to happen most often in Google Docs but I don't have concrete stats to back it up.

I regularly have freeze-ups that cause the entire UI to crash and relaunch. With 8GB of RAM I shouldn't think I should have resource issues. I am running an instance of Termux with NGinx/MariaDB/SSH going in the background, but if I'm not actively using those I don't see why my system should be crashing.
I also have the HP Chromebook 13 G1
