Tooltips are incorrect on first hover

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_14_0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.77 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Hover on a tab or bookmark. What is the expected behavior? Display the correct tooltip for the given tab or bookmark What went wrong? It displays the tooltip for another random tab or bookmark. Did this work before? Yes a month ago - can't be sure of exact version Chrome version: 70.0.3538.77 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.14.0 Flash Version: The correct tooltip is usually shown on a second hover. The random tooltip is from another object of the same type, e.g. the random tooltip on a bookmark is usually from another bookmark.

Thanks for filing the issue! Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 70.0.3538.77 using Mac 10.14.0 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Bookmarked few webpages 3. Opened multiple tabs 4. Hovered over bookmarks and tabs. Observed correct text rendered from the first hover itself. @Reporter: Could you please check the same in a new profile without any apps & extensions and let us know if the issue still persists. Any further inputs from your end may be helpful in triaging this further in a better way.

Yup it looks like the same issue though I can confirm it happens with only a single profile as well.
