Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS aarch64 11021.56.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.76 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to https://cros-omahaproxy.appspot.com/ 2. Paste a version number in the "Version Lookup" thing 3. Click "Lookup" What is the expected behavior? Should show a version matching the version you input. What went wrong? 500 Internal Server Error Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 70.0.3538.76 Channel: stable OS Version: 11021.56.0 Flash Version: To be honest, I'm trying to come up with a way to be notified whenever a new Chrome OS version is posted for one of my Chromebooks (just for fun, I guess). My first attempt pulls https://cros-omahaproxy.appspot.com/all but that URL takes about 20s to send any data. My next attempt involves https://dl.google.com/dl/edgedl/chromeos/recovery/recovery.json which is pulls much faster (it's a static, generated file) but it only lists Chrome OS versions, not Chrome versions (which are the only ones anyone talks about publicly). So to make the notification friendly, I wanted to lookup the version mapping. I'm also looking at using the update APIs to pull what version is available. That looks like a more likely path, but it's still worth reporting that the omahaproxy thing is broken. |
