All alerts crammed into same window as volume and other controls. When asking for minimal controls only the least used are shown.

Issue descriptionVolume icon is also missing, as is a convenient button to dismiss all alerts, and in the taskbar all icons are pulled to the center instead of left justified. Consequently they shift when new programs are opened and its harder to reach them one handed when using a tablet or similar. This is a major decrease in functionality, and even breaks many programs that remain open on the taskbar (weather alerts being one common example.) The UI really does have potential for tablets once the bugs and arguably over compressed interface are ironed out, though I'm skeptical about its use on laptops. In either case having a seperate alert button and volume is just useful and if they would fit on a standard cellphone they would be there, larger screens don't need to intentionally suffer from that limitation. (Just a power user who thought it was worth the risk to let the emperor know that he is, in fact, naked. Cheers all.)
