Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.77 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1.Type in a380-800 in the address bar/Omnibox 2.Type in b380-800 in the address bar/Omnibox What is the expected behavior? It should treat the input as usual text, and show only the usual suggestions What went wrong? It treats the input a380-800 (I'm thinking about the airbus a380-800) as a math calculation request and shows the calculated result, which is -420 (380-800) alongside the google suggestions. Oddly the input b380-800 works as intended. Note this is in contrast to the behaviour when typing this text string a380-800 directly into the google.com website, no calculation result will be shown. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 70.0.3538.77 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version:

Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version #70.0.3538.77 and latest canary 72.0.3602.0 using Windows 10, Ubuntu 17.10 and Mac OS 10.13.6 by following steps as per comment#0. The behaviour is seen from old M-60builds (#60.0.3112.113). This is a non-regression issue, hence marking it as untriaged and requesting some one from dev team to look into the issue. Thanks.!

You can see in chrome://omnibox that this is coming from Search (and occurs on Android too BTW). I'll try filing a bug there (but it may be WAI).
