Issue description

Looking at crbug/871915, I notice a machine that crashes because OOM killer can not find any more process to kill:

<0>[913650.445586] Kernel panic - not syncing: Out of memory and no killable processes...


I see the count slab pages increasing over time, may pointing to an unfree malloc.

do we collect /proc/slabinfo? this would tell us what is leaking
