Try to open this page in Chrome browser, only 5 MB long HTML file, on Android phone with TalkBack enabled - completely hangs Chrome, the only thing one can do is kill it when the "app not responding" message appears. Happens to any long page, maybe for 512 kB you would wait a minute and it would recover, but it is still unacceptable. Firefox on Android under TalkBack on the same page works perfectly and instantly... https://hyperionics.com/test/Marauders.html This is completely unacceptable behavior and should be fixed asap. I also prepared a shorter test, just 500k of HTML. This time Chrome with TalkBack under Android 9 (Pixel 2 XL) does not lock for so long, but seriously misbehaves nonetheless. It takes very long time to react to screen taps, then executes in short bursts several earlier taps. Completely unusable. Compare with Firefox, which still works great in this case.
