Hey Yingbing, do you know if the restrictFeatures API still works with the new UI? I assume that's the root cause (new UI was launched in M70).

Vijay, do you know if this TestNav app is using the restrictFeatures virtualKeyboard API? Do you know where I can find and download this app?

Hi, you can download TestNav app on the app store on chromebook. I am not sure about the API, I will let you know.

Thanks! I'll have a look at the app. The virtualKeyboard.restrictFeatures [1] is the official way of disabling things like gesture typing and dictation. Might be a regression on our side. [1] https://developer.chrome.com/apps/virtualKeyboard

The restrictFeatures API is used in the TestNav app. Here is how it is used within the app:
chrome.virtualKeyboard.restrictFeatures({
autoCompleteEnabled: false,
autoCorrectEnabled: false,
spellCheckEnabled: false,
voiceInputEnabled: false,
handwritingEnabled: false
});
Let me know if you need any further information. Thanks!
