Tested the issue on android and unable to reproduce the issue Steps to reproduce: -------------------------- 1. Set Webview to canary[72.0.3598.0] , stable [70.0.3538.80] and beta [71.0.3578.31] 2. Opened alipay app and it loaded without any black screen Chrome version: 72.0.3598.0 , 70.0.3538.80, 71.0.3578.31 OS: Android 7.0 Android device: Samsung Galaxy J7 @ youling257: Please check the above steps and let us know if we miss anything. Is this issue consistently reproducible? Please provide device details, this would help in better triaging. Thanks!

chrome canary 72.0.3599.0, chrome beta 71.0.3578.31, chrome dev 72.0.3596.0, all can reproduce the issue. chrome stable 70.0.3538.80, no this problem.

@chelamcherla 2. Opened alipay app and it loaded without any black screen，open 充值中心，black screen. on my Android x86 7.1, alipay use webview,chrome 72 for webview implementation. as i know, alipay use UC webcore on Android arm, you can search how to make alipay use webview.

@@chelamcherla I needn't changwan answer my question, i know which browser use WebView. my mean is he doesn't know at all, so he suggested me to try UC browser. can you reply my commit#7, i said 500KB browser, for example, com.mmbox.xbrowser, mark.via, did you test mark.via browser

I asked you to try other browsers since it might be Alipay's own issue. But if this can be observed on other browsers, I think this might be related to Dark Mode support in accessibility. youling257 - could you check dark mode settings in your phone and try turning it off? Also, what device are you using? dmazzoni@, could this be related to dark mode?

https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=889723#c17 1 - Download home looks black on tablets for certain views such as storage header, date header etc. This is fixed by adding the default background refer to this.

We don't support android x86 project, and you are on your own trying to make chrome run on it. Intel gpu drivers are pretty generally pretty buggy, so this is not very surprising. You might want to start with the list of workarounds applied to intel GPUs on desktop, and see if they do anything here.

Deleting the post isn't going to help. We can't fix any rendering issues without information about the GPU/driver, and if it's not a GPU/driver that is used by a supported device there's not a lot we can do.
