Internet is working but every time I try to access Google mail from work or personal it tells me there is no access to the site

Could you capture a log as described here? https://www.chromium.org/for-testers/providing-network-details

Though the description you gave makes it very likely that you are hitting a locally enforced restriction.

Closing based on my reading of comment #4.  Feel free to file another bug if the problem comes back, and please attach a network event log.
