OS : Mac(10.13.1, 10.13.6, 10.14.1)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome open NTP and navigate to http://google.com.au
2. Type 'flowers' in google search box and hit 'Enter' key. (Results page appear)
3. Click on browser's back arrow button and observe the google search box.

Actual Result : Default text caret is not seen in Google search box upon back navigation.

Expected Result : Default text caret should be seen in Google search box upon back navigation.

This is a regression issue broken in M-70 and below is the 'Per-Revision' bisect information:
Good Build : 70.0.3504.0 (Revision : 578511)
Bad Build : 70.0.3505.0 (Revision : 578873)

1. This is Mac OS specific issue and same is not observed in Windows(7,8,10) & Linux(14.04 LTS) OS
2. Able to reproduce issue in Canary #72.0.3596.0, Dev #72.0.3595.2 and Stable build #70.0.3538.77
3. Issue is also seen for www.google.com
