[Findit] Flake Detection - Wrong result for ManagePasswordsIconViewTest.CloseOnClick |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionLink to flake occurrences: https://findit-for-me.appspot.com/flake/occurrences?key=ag9zfmZpbmRpdC1mb3ItbWVycgsSBUZsYWtlImdjaHJvbWl1bUBpbnRlcmFjdGl2ZV91aV90ZXN0cyAod2l0aCBwYXRjaCkgb24gV2luZG93cy0xMC0xNTA2M0BNYW5hZ2VQYXNzd29yZHNJY29uVmlld1Rlc3QuQ2xvc2VPbkNsaWNrDA The report blamed ManagePasswordsIconViewTest.CloseOnClick for being flaky, yet all the linked builds either failed in the compile or int bot_update step, i.e., much much earlier that any tests could have been run.

Hi vabr@, thank you for reporting this to us. Actually there is an open bug (900148) on milo, which makes the build page show spurious step results. So the test is actually flaky but the information is not on milo right now. If you look at any occurrence's step logs from https://cr-buildbucket.appspot.com/rpcexplorer/services/buildbucket.v2.Builds/GetBuild?request={%20%20%20%20%22id%22:%20%228931228707859609232%22,%20%20%20%20%22fields%22:%20%22id,status,builder,steps%22} (this is for https://ci.chromium.org/p/chromium/builders/luci.chromium.try/win10_chromium_x64_rel_ng/127008), you can find that 'interactive_ui_tests (with patch) on Windows-10-15063' step actually failed. And I found the task https://chromium-swarm.appspot.com/task?id=40de7b7b21f33910&refresh=10&show_raw=1 which contains the flaky test.
